Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dock Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations at our distribution center. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily dock activities, coordinate shipping and receiving processes, and ensure efficient materials handling. Your leadership will help maintain a safe, organized, and productive environment while supporting continuous process improvements in a fast-paced logistics setting. Duties Supervise dock operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control to ensure timely and accurate processing of goods Lead and motivate warehouse staff, fostering teamwork and high performance through clear communication and managerial oversight Operate and oversee the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to facilitate safe movement of inventory Implement process improvements aligned with lean management principles to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce waste Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and AS400 platforms for tracking shipments and stock levels Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and promote a safety-first culture among team members Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for seamless distribution center operations including shipping & receiving Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, warehouse supervision or logistics management within a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and materials handling equipment operation including forklifts and RF scanners Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams, providing clear communication, and fostering a collaborative work environment Mechanical aptitude with understanding of material handling equipment operation and mechanical knowledge beneficial Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations, lean management practices, e-commerce logistics, and heavy lifting procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with AS400 or similar inventory management systems preferred Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail in distribution center operations Join us as a Dock Supervisor if you're ready to lead dynamic teams in an energetic environment dedicated to excellence in logistics. $76,200.00 - $90,700.00 per year
