Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Shift Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations during your assigned shift. In this role, you will oversee daily distribution activities, manage warehouse staff, ensure safety compliance, and optimize inventory control processes. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining efficient logistics workflows and supporting our commitment to excellence in warehouse management. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities during your shift, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Lead and motivate warehouse team members to achieve operational goals while maintaining a safe work environment. Oversee inventory management processes, ensuring accurate tracking and control using warehouse management systems like AS400. Manage materials handling equipment operations, including forklift use, adhering to OSHA safety standards. Implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize warehouse distribution. Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA and company policies related to heavy lifting and materials handling. Collaborate with logistics partners and 3PL providers to facilitate timely shipping and receiving operations. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role within a warehouse environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse distribution, and logistics processes. Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or similar platforms. Ability to operate forklift equipment safely; certification preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment is a plus. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff effectively. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and materials handling. E-commerce experience is advantageous but not required; a background in 3PL operations is beneficial.
