Job Description
Job Overview Our client, a leading luxury watch retailer, is seeking a Shipping Specialist to join their team in Long Island City, NY on a contract basis . Key Responsibilities Receive, document, and process all inbound shipments from carriers including UPS, FedEx, Malca, and others Coordinate the distribution and delivery of inbound packages to the appropriate internal departments .Maintain accurate shipment tracking and ensure all packages are properly accounted for Check in, prepare, label, and process outbound shipments in accordance with company shipping procedures Coordinate daily outbound pickups and ensure timely shipment processing Perform messenger services throughout the facility as needed Partner closely with the Shipping Supervisor and Receiving, Distribution & Shipping Manager to support daily department operations Maintain an organized, efficient, and secure shipping and mailroom environments Qualification 1+ year of operations, shipping, receiving, warehouse, or mailroom experience preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support various operational functions Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 25 pound Please submit your resume for consideration!
