Job Description:
Warehouse Operations Team Leader Summary The Warehouse Operations Team Leader is responsible for guiding the daily activities of the warehouse team while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. This role oversees personnel, inventory processes, workflow coordination, and administrative functions to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant operations. The Team Leader plays a critical role in developing team capabilities, strengthening departmental processes, and supporting long-term operational excellence. This position is located in our corporate office located in Mason, OH. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Apply in-depth knowledge of warehouse, inventory, and logistics processes to interpret procedures, resolve non-standard issues, and recommend enhancements that improve departmental performance. Provide daily coaching, constructive feedback, and clear work direction to team members to reinforce standard work, close performance gaps, and support ongoing skill development. Develop, maintain, and communicate weekly work schedules aligned with workload demands and staffing requirements. Lead assigned warehouse areas to achieve accuracy, productivity, safety, and service-level targets, escalating systemic challenges and partnering with leadership to address root causes. Actively participate in the safety committee and champion a proactive, safety-first culture across the department. Support the RGA process by ensuring accurate part identification, documentation, and timely processing. Assist with RPC part identification and photographic documentation to maintain data accuracy and traceability. Coordinate expedited international imports and ensure timely delivery to meet customer expectations. Monitor SAP reports to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making. Oversee daily workflow, resolving operational conflicts, staffing gaps, and exceptions requiring sound judgment and cross-functional coordination. Manage outsourced services related to logistics equipment maintenance and shipping supplies to ensure operational readiness. Perform and support warehouse system transactions, documentation, and record-keeping to maintain process integrity and compliance. Qualifications Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams. Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics. Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong understanding of warehouse best practices, safety standards, and compliance requirements. Proven ability to coach, train, and lead teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Education and Experience Associate degree in warehouse/logistics management or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse experience, including supervisory or team leadership responsibilities.
