Distribution Executive

Position Summary The Distribution Executive is responsible for overseeing employees, processes, and movement of goods from vendor to customer. This role will be responsible for ensuring daily processes are efficient, safe, and cost effective for multiple locations while implementing any necessary procedures to effectively meet company growth goals. Key Responsibilities Oversee warehouse responsibilities for multiple company sites. Implement Change Management Identify areas in need of improvement in the supply chain and implement Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to improve flow. Negotiate contracts with freight carriers, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and packaging suppliers. Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy. Ensure operations meet OSHA standards and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Required Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

7+ years of experience in distribution or management of multiple warehouses, preferably in a leadership capacity.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in ERP software (Prelude or Prophet21 are beneficial) and advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Analytical Skills:

Ability to interpret complex data to forecast demand and labor requirements.
