Job Description
The ideal candidate for this Warehouse Supervisor role should have strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping/receiving logistics operations. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising warehouse personnel, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely shipping and receiving activities, and promoting a safe and efficient workplace. The ideal candidate has experience in food manufacturing and possesses strong leadership skills with a focus on continuous operational improvement. Primary Responsibilities
- Implement purchasing strategies
- Oversee daily purchasing activities
- Review and analyze price variances
- Monitor new product forecast
- Determine cost effective materials
- Negotiate supplier management pricing
- Monitor vendor performance
- Provide cost management
- Improve purchasing systems and processes
- Train and mentor new employees The ideal Warehouse Supervisor will have a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Other requirements for the Warehouse Supervisor role include and are not limited to:
- 5+ years in inventory management, procurement, or similar role
- Microsoft Office skills, Advanced Excel
- Proficient in inventory management software/tools
