FIELD PROJECT MATERIALS SUPERVISOR

We serve over 16,000 customers through 30+ facilities, providing fasteners, construction products, industrial supplies, safety products, and more. 2-Year Field Assignment | Company Vehicle | Housing Allowance | Per Diem Copper State Bolt & Nut Company is seeking a Project Materials Supervisor to lead daily yard and materials operations supporting major customer projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced warehouse, yard, logistics, construction materials, or field operations professional who can lead people, manage inventory, and keep materials moving safely and efficiently.

Status:
Exempt, Salaried | Paid Bi-Weekly What You'll Do Lead daily receiving, put-away, inventory, picking, staging, kitting, loading, returns, and yard organization. Supervise, coach, and assign work to Project Materials Coordinators and yard personnel. Maintain accurate inventory, locations, system transactions, material status, and staging. Resolve receiving discrepancies, damaged materials, shortages, and location issues. Coordinate material staging and deliveries with Project Fulfillment and field teams. Maintain safe traffic flow, equipment use, housekeeping, pedestrian controls, and emergency access. Conduct pre-shift safety discussions, inspections, and operational updates. Ensure forklifts and material-handling equipment are operated safely by trained personnel. Support cycle counts, audits, transfers, returns, site expansions, consolidation, mobilization, and demobilization. Verify loads, labeling, staging, and material readiness. Escalate inventory, labor, equipment, safety, or customer-impacting issues to the Field Operations Manager. What You Bring 3+ years of experience in warehouse, yard operations, construction materials, inventory, field logistics, military supply, equipment rental, oil & gas, or a related environment. Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred. Experience with receiving, inventory control, material handling, staging, loading, and resolving discrepancies. Experience using ERP, RF scanning, inventory systems, spreadsheets, or similar technology. Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Forklift experience required; telehandler experience is a plus. Valid driver's license required; Class B CDL preferred . Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on gravel or uneven surfaces. Ability to safely lift and handle materials as needed. OSHA 10 required within 90 days; company sponsored. First Aid/CPR or similar safety training is a plus. Field Assignment & Compensation This is an approximately 2-year field assignment supporting customer projects. The position requires travel and deployment to designated project locations and is not a traditional remote or work-from-home position . The role requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions, wearing required PPE, walking and standing on uneven surfaces, and moving between offices, yards, vehicles, containers, and jobsites.
