Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking to hire a Warehouse Coordinator/Driver in the Memphis, TN area. For over seven decades investor-owned utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, and others have entrusted their electrical construction and maintenance needs to Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot). Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services. Job Description The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Coordinator/Driver is to coordinate and oversee activities at our warehouse located in Memphis, TN. Oversee all shipping and receiving Maintain upkeep, cleanliness, and organization of warehouse and surrounding lot Receive, inventory and label all incoming material and supplies in a timely fashion Comfortable creating processes to improve efficiencies with regards to receiving, shipping and inventory management Ability to communicate and coordinate with various operations to plan & arrange pick up & deliveries Order, stock and manage an array of PPE Effectively communicate with internal and external customers Qualifications Valid Class A CDL and medical card required Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening 2-3 warehouse management or similar experience preferred 1-2 years experience in the construction and/or electrical industry preferred 1-2 years of forklift experience preferred Benefits/Culture Today, we are listed among Engineering News-Records Top 150 Specialty Contracting firms.
