This is what your day may look like: Supervise Delivery and/or Shuttle Work closely with other transportation managers, ensuring routes and deliveries are accurately executed. Ensure safety processes and procedures are met or exceeded by inspecting equipment, logs, DVIR's, and Hours of service records. Be a positive self-starter that thrives working alone and in a team environment. Supervise a team of independent professional contractors. Supervise and monitor performance metrics- including survey, safety scores and Hours of Service. Work with all levels of management to build a positive work environment and improve team morale. Monitor all deliveries and routes in Dispatch Track/Motive from start to finish. Move trailers or assist with transportation needs when necessary (Class A CDL required) What we require: Minimum 1 years of logistics management experience Microsoft Office Suite experience with moderate Excel Skills Excellent Organization, communication, and interpersonal skills Detailed oriented, highly organized, and resourceful Knowledge of DOT laws and regulations Ability to work flex schedule Southeast Independent Delivery Service is an equal opportunity employer.
