In this role, the candidate is responsible for supervising night-shift warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory relocation, assembly, and urgent order fulfillment. The Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor will ensure assigned work is completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining clear communication with day-shift management.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assign daily work to night-shift warehouse associates.
- Receive a daily work handoff from day-shift management and review priorities before the night shift begins.
- Oversee receiving of incoming merchandise and verify SKU and quantity.
- Ensure received merchandise is properly relocated to designated shelf locations.
- Oversee AOA assembly work based on daily priorities.
- Process urgent orders, including picking and packing, to ensure orders are completed and ready for UPS shipment.
- Monitor employee productivity, attendance, work quality, and safety.
- Ensure employees follow warehouse procedures and company safety policies.
- Ensure only trained and authorized employees operate warehouse equipment.
- Maintain clean and safe aisles, work areas, and emergency exits.
- Report inventory discrepancies, damaged merchandise, equipment problems, and safety concerns.
- Complete end-of-shift reports for completed work, pending work, and operational issues.
- Ensure work areas are cleaned and secured before closing.
- Communicate effectively with day-shift management regarding night-shift results and outstanding issues.
- Perform other warehouse duties and special projects as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years of warehouse experience.
- Previous warehouse lead or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with receiving, inventory relocation, picking, and packing.
- Basic knowledge of WMS or warehouse inventory systems.
- Basic Microsoft Excel and email skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to supervise employees and work independently with limited management onsite.
- Ability to work proactively and under pressure in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Forklift experience preferred. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, sitting, reaching outward, reaching above shoulders, climbing stairs, squatting, and kneeling.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse
Benefits:
Casual working environment with an Energetic Team Compensation - $25.00-$27.00/hour, DOE Part-time - Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM-11:00 PM 30-minute meal periodTraining :
