Warehouse Setting Summary:
The position description of the Warehouse Team Leader includes overseeing Warehouse personnel, guiding, organizing, motivating, and delegating the workload ensuring that the team works together delivering quality customer service; and performing shipping and receiving responsibilities that include arranging deliveries and shipments within the Warehouse, and completing the daily metering and dispatch of outgoing goods and orders.

Duties/Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Team Leader supports senior level management in the fulfillment of goods produced and received for sale to the customer base. Duties include but are not limited to: Assist with training and development of Warehouse personnel. Schedule and monitor courier trips ensuring efficient travel routes. Monitor employee performance and attendance, ensuring maximum proficiency and productivity. Perform shipping and receiving duties, recording and checking quantity and quality of shipment received, inputting received shipment into computer system and forwarding notification to recipient. Responsible to make arrangements for pick-up by the carrier specified on the purchase order (or best practice). Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, following prescribed safety regulations. Processing and sorting all incoming and outgoing mail. Completion of bills of lading and customs paperwork. Attendance and punctuality are critical.

EXPERIENCE A
high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Experience in leadership roles. Strong organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience with Microsoft applications including Excel, Word and Outlook.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50lbs.
