Job Description
- Month end closed.
- Invoicing
- Reconcile bank accounts.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
- Monitor status of bank accounts, accounts payables.
- Understand General Ledger.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Prepare account analysis and reconciliations.
- Timely filing of accounting records.
- Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliation and analysis.
- Learn the scale operation process to provide coverage when the Scale Clerk is on lunch breaks or absent.
- Work on other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the fields of accounting and finance or equivalent to years of experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively with a variety of personalities.
- Ability to think through, evaluate, and solve problems logically and independently
- Must meet deadlines without extensions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a creative thinker and have strong analytical skills.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner (oral and written).
- Must be detail-oriented and focused on accuracy.
