Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Warehouse Lead to join our fast-paced manufacturing center team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, lead a team of warehouse associates, and ensure the efficient movement of goods through inventory control, shipping, and receiving processes. Your leadership will drive process improvements, uphold safety standards, and foster a collaborative environment that promotes productivity and excellence. Bilingual proficiency is essential to effectively communicate with diverse team members and stakeholders. Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure smooth operations. Lead, motivate, and manage warehouse staff, providing clear guidance and managerial communication to optimize team performance. Oversee the operation of forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with OSHA standards. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, RF scanners, and AS400 to track stock levels, process orders, and maintain accurate inventory records. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce waste. Coordinate logistics activities including distribution center operations, shipping & receiving schedules, and inventory control procedures. Conduct regular safety audits, enforce safety protocols related to heavy lifting and materials handling, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations. Communicate effectively in both languages to support team coordination, training sessions, and operational updates. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations with a strong background in warehouse distribution, inventory control, and logistics management. Demonstrated leadership or warehouse supervisor experience with team management skills. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, RF scanners, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel), and OS400 is required. Ability to operate forklift and other heavy material handling equipment safely; certification preferred. Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies such as lean management to streamline warehouse workflows. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
