Job Description
Job Duties:
Operate pumps, valves, blenders and automated loading system to load and/or unload product from trucks, railcars, barges and ships. Instruct and assist truck drivers on the use of the scale and automated loading system. Line up tanks and pipelines for product deliveries and distributions. Measure and gather samples of petroleum products. Perform cleaning, preventive and regular Terminal maintenance duties. Coordinate product delivery with customers, truck drivers and barges. Operate forklift, tractor, truck, man-lift and various hand tools. Serve as a member of the emergency response team. Follow established Company policies and procedures in strict accordance with environmental, health and safety rules. Perform recordkeeping duties related to storage and transfer of product. Other duties as assigned.Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Basic math skills. Ability to speak, read and write in the English language and follow verbal and written instructions. Must possess a valid drivers' license with good driving record. Ability to work a rotating shift, nights, weekends, holidays and overtime and be on call as needed. Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, squat, climb ladders and stairs and work in areas with elevated heights, around water and on uneven terrain. Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions and wear personal protective equipment as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to respond quickly to stressful emergency situations. Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within 30 calendar days of hire date, at applicable Terminal locations. Must be able to successfully complete Company HazMat training, safety awareness training and any related training and certifications as required.CRITICAL SKILLS/EXPERTISE
Accurate measuring and calculating product. Knowledge of or ability to learn equipment operation including a forklift, tractor, truck or man-lift. Ability to use various hand tools and gauges, such as thermometers and digital probes. Mechanical skills and aptitude. Good verbal and written communication skills. EOE - Drug free workplaceJob Type:
