Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in patient care across diverse medical settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your advanced clinical skills, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages. As a vital part of our organization, you will lead patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver high-quality medical services in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and vital signs assessment to determine health status. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following proper protocols and safety standards. Perform diagnostic procedures such as sonography, spinal taps, and catheterizations to aid in accurate diagnosis. Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties including emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and behavioral health. Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Provide patient education on medication administration, nutrition, disease management, and health coaching strategies. Skills Proven experience with Epic EMR systems and Athenahealth or similar EHR platforms for efficient documentation. Strong background in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers; experience in emergency room or urgent care settings is highly valued. Expertise in specialized procedures including suturing, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, spinal taps, catheterizations, and sterile processing techniques. Knowledge of advanced diagnostic coding systems like CPT codes, ICD-9/10, ICD coding for accurate billing and documentation. Skilled in managing complex cases involving trauma care, infectious disease management, hospice & palliative medicine, and post-acute care planning. Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics (including neonatal ventilators), seniors in memory or assisted living facilities, individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities of any kind. Familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote patient assessments; ability to adapt to various clinical environments such as outpatient clinics or inpatient units. $108,319.63 - $130,449.45 per year
