This position is ideal for a motivated leader who enjoys working alongside the team while coordinating shipping, receiving, inventory control, and transportation support activities. The Warehouse Lead plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting drivers and customers, ensuring freight is handled safely and efficiently, and assisting with continuous improvement efforts throughout the warehouse. Schedule Monday-Friday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations & Inventory Control Lead daily warehouse operations and freight handling activities. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Ensure all freight movements are properly documented. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Shipping & Receiving Coordinate inbound and outbound freight activities. Verify shipment accuracy and freight documentation. Schedule and manage dock activities. Ensure products are received, stored, and shipped according to company standards. Assist with loading and unloading freight as needed. Transportation Support Work closely with dispatch and operations teams to support daily deliveries. Assist drivers with load verification and shipping documentation. Help identify opportunities to improve freight flow and operational efficiency. Support final-mile and transportation operations when necessary. Customer Service & Administration Respond professionally to customer inquiries. Maintain shipment records and operational data. Provide shipment status updates and resolve service issues. Assist with reporting, documentation, and process improvements. Coordinate communication between warehouse, operations, drivers, and customers. Leadership & Team Development Lead by example and work alongside warehouse personnel. Assist with employee training and onboarding. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork. Monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Support company initiatives focused on efficiency and customer satisfaction. QualificationsRequired Minimum 2 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience. Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and freight handling. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment. Preferred Transportation or final-mile logistics experience. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Forklift certification or forklift experience. Shipping and receiving experience.
