We are looking for an experienced Roll-to-Roll Value Stream Lead on 1st shift!
ABOUT EMPIRE SCREEN PRINTING
Empire is a family-owned, award-winning business that prides itself on using environmentally-friendly print methods. Empire is a full-service company in OEM and POP markets, producing overlays, vinyl decals, crystal-line domes, nameplates, magnets, and roll labels, using UV LED and UV screening, digital and flexographic printing.
JOB SUMMARY
The roll-to-roll value stream lead is responsible all aspects of the roll-to-roll value stream manager including flexographic, digital, rewind and screen-printing roll to roll. Responsibilities in this area include leading process improvement, training employees, managing the daily schedule, filling in for absences, helping in production, quality of parts being produced and job verification. Experience Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility environments with a focus on roll-to-roll or similar continuous process operations. Demonstrated leadership skills managing production or assembly teams in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with manufacturing management systems, process documentation, and quality control procedures. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and interpreting technical drawings. Knowledge of safety standards relevant to manufacturing operations including heavy lifting protocols and manual handling procedures. Experience with lean manufacturing techniques aimed at process optimization and waste reduction. Ability to interpret technical documents such as assembly instructions, process sheets, and technical drawings accurately. Understanding of manufacturing documentation requirements for quality assurance purposes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to stand for up to 10 hours Ability to perform physical labor (this is a working managerial position)
