Job Description
Educated Solutions Corp (ESC) has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Coordinator to join our client, a well-established mechanical contractor serving Southeast Wisconsin. Our client specializes in the design, fabrication, installation, and service of commercial HVAC, industrial process, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems. This contract-to-hire opportunity works onsite in Pewaukee, WI between the hours of 6:00am and 2:00pm and is ideal for a dependable, safety-focused warehouse professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment and supporting warehouse, delivery, inventory, and facility operations. Position Summary Under the direction of the Logistics Operations Manager, the Warehouse Coordinator will receive, store, and distribute equipment, materials, tools, and supplies. This position will also coordinate deliveries to jobsites and customers, maintain accurate inventory levels, and assist with equipment and facility maintenance. Key Responsibilities Shipping and Receiving. Receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and supplies. Prepares and loads product for delivery to customers. Prepares and handles UPS shipments. Machine and Tooling Repair and Maintenance. Assist with the maintenance and repair of all shop equipment according to manufacturer specifications. Make recommendations for replacement or enhancements. Inventory Control. Maintain proper levels of consumables, raw materials, welding supplies, and finished product. Maintain all tools distributed to AGI location. Maintain onsite safety supplies. Building Maintenance. Oversee all building maintenance and repairs including managing dumpsters and refuse containers, plant and office lighting, shop cleaning, and safety areas. LEAN Manufacturing . Assist with maintaining LEAN means and method throughout the facility. Participate in the development and implementation of Company best practices . Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. One to three years of warehouse experience; experience within a mechanical contracting, construction, fabrication, or industrial environment is preferred. Forklift certification preferred. Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required. Familiarity with mechanical contracting terminology, tools, materials, and safety practices is preferred. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory, shipping, and warehouse systems. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout warehouse, shop, and company facilities. Ability to work in warehouse, industrial, construction-site, and outdoor environments. Ability to work safely around heavy machinery, tools, equipment, and moving vehicles. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 80 pounds.
