Job Description

TEAM LEADER
Great People. Great Opportunity. Woodport Doors is growing, and we're looking for a hands-on, dependable Team Leader to support daily operations in our warehouse and distribution center. What You'll Be Doing Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations. Supervise and support warehouse team members day to day. Monitor team members' time and attendance, and address issues as they come up. Handle coaching and disciplinary actions fairly and consistently, following company policy. Train and mentor warehouse staff on proper handling, safety procedures and company standards. Communicate with drivers, sales and office staff to keep orders flowing and customers satisfied. Monitor productivity and quality, and help put best practices in place. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed. Support company values and foster a respectful, team-oriented culture. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment. What We're Looking For 2-4 years of warehouse, distribution or logistics experience; millwork or building materials experience preferred. Proven leadership or supervisory experience. Strong ability to motivate and develop team members. Experience handling long, heavy or irregularly shaped materials like doors, trim or wood products. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy. Basic computer skills, including shipping software, inventory systems and Microsoft Office. Forklift certification preferred (or we'll provide it). Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting. High school diploma or equivalent.
