Job Description

Job Summary Woodcraft Supply, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Lead to support daily warehouse operations by coordinating workflow, guiding team members, and ensuring accuracy, safety, and productivity. This role serves as a hands‑on leader on the warehouse floor and the first point of contact for problem‑solving related to orders, inventory, equipment, and workflow. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Daily Operations Assign and adjust daily work tasks based on workload and staffing needs. Train and support new and existing team members on processes, equipment, and safety procedures. Monitor productivity and quality, providing coaching and feedback as needed. Serve as the go‑to resource for resolving operational issues. Warehouse Functions Oversee picking, packing, put‑away, replenishment, and shipping activities. Assist with receiving inventory, including unloading trucks and sorting product. Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies to maintain accuracy. Safety & Compliance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Enforce safety policies and address unsafe behaviors or conditions immediately. Assist with audits, inspections, and compliance requirements. Communication & Coordination Communicate workload updates and issues to warehouse management and other leads. Collaborate with other departments as needed. Provide feedback on process improvements and assist with implementation. Qualifications Required Excellent attendance and punctuality. Ability to guide, coach, or mentor team members (lead experience preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, climb ladders, and operate material‑handling equipment. Strong problem‑solving, communication, and time‑management skills. Preferred Experience in a high‑volume distribution or warehouse environment. Forklift operation experience. Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Work Schedule & Environment Fast‑paced warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations. Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Occasional weekend work or adjusted hours based on business needs.
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
