Position Summary The Warehouse Lead is responsible for helping overseeing daily warehouse operations within a less-lethal manufacturing environment, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, and warehouse personnel. This role ensures the safe, accurate, and timely movement of materials and finished goods while maintaining compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and finished products. Lead, train, and develop warehouse employees to ensure productivity, safety, and operational excellence. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits. Collaborate with Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Customer Service teams to support operational requirements. Ensure materials are properly stored, handled, and transported in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations. Monitor warehouse performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, inventory variances, and operational issues. Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with 5S and safety standards. Coordinate carrier scheduling and shipping logistics to meet customer delivery requirements. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations related to warehouse operations and less-lethal product handling. Operate and oversee the safe use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. 3-5 years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience. Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience. Experience in manufacturing, defense, firearms, law enforcement equipment, or regulated industries preferred. Proficiency with ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform warehouse duties for extended periods. Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
