We are looking for a dependable General Labor / Construction Worker to assist with the installation and construction of refrigerated storage systems in grocery stores and other commercial locations. This is a great opportunity for someone with construction, carpentry, warehouse, or general labor experience who is comfortable with physically demanding work and willing to learn. What We're Looking ForPrevious construction, carpentry, warehouse, or general labor experience preferredBasic carpentry skills are a major plusComfortable using basic hand and power toolsStrong physical ability and a willingness to perform hands-on workDependable attendance and punctualityPositive attitude and strong work ethicAbility to follow instructions and work safelyWillingness to learn new skillsComfortable working in cold/refrigerated environmentsReliable transportation to and from job sitesWillingness to travel and work overtime when neededPrevious refrigeration experience is a plus, but not required
Key Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the workdayComfortable working on ladders and elevated surfacesFrequent use of hands and arms to operate hand and power toolsAbility to perform repetitive physical tasksAbility to safely maneuver materials and equipment on a job siteAbility to work in cold/refrigerated environmentsAbility to work extended hours and overtime as needed
Shifts:
1st ShiftTypically 40-55 hours per weekOvertime is common on larger projects, averaging 10-15 hoursWeekend work is rareOut-of-town travel throughout Alabama and occasionally to surrounding states, including Georgia and FloridaHotel accommodations are 100% company-paid for qualifying out-of-town work$25/day per diem provided for out-of-town stays
