Full Job Description Description:
We are looking for a motivated and reliable C-Class Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse functions, including material handling, order picking, inventory management, and shipping/receiving tasks. As a C-Class Warehouse Associate, you will play an essential role in supporting warehouse operations, ensuring that materials and products are stored, organized, and shipped efficiently.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling:
Receive, store, and organize products and materials in the warehouse. Ensure proper inventory rotation and follow all procedures for material handling.
Order Picking and Packing:
Accurately pick and pack orders based on work orders, shipping labels, or inventory requests. Ensure products are packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.
Shipping and Receiving:
Assist with the unloading of incoming shipments, verifying product quantities, and ensuring the correct materials are received. Prepare outgoing shipments and organize transportation logistics.
Inventory Management:
Conduct regular inventory counts and stock checks to ensure the accurate recording of materials and products. Report discrepancies or inventory shortages to management.
Forklift Operation:
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move heavy products or materials around the warehouse. Ensure safe loading and unloading practices.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards. Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring aisles are clear, and workspaces are tidy.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all company safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to warehouse safety protocols.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other warehouse associates, supervisors, and managers to meet order deadlines, resolve issues, and ensure efficient workflow.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of items received, shipped, or moved within the warehouse, including any required paperwork for inventory control and logistics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred but not required. Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail to ensure the correct picking, packing, and shipping of materials. Basic math skills to handle inventory and order processing tasks. Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Strong communication and team collaboration skills. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety and warehouse protocols.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly. Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment. Ability to operate heavy machinery and warehouse equipment safely. Must be able to wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
