trussville, alabama Posted 3/24/2026 Closes 4/30/2026 Job details Summary Spherion $14.00 - $16.00 per hour Temp to Perm 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_173740 Team Member/General Laborer position performs all essential functions listed below related to the manufacturing of sand cores for the metalcasting industry. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. This is a temporary position with possibility of full-time. Business operates Monday through Friday. Availability of working OT and Saturdays is required.

Responsibilities:

??? Perform work as assigned (e.g., core making/machine operation, core packaging, material handling, clean-up and core assembly, tool cleaning, ice blasting) ??? Understand and be responsible for the startup, operation, and shutdown of relevant equipment. ??? Read, understand, and follow all job process control instructions; identify and report inaccuracies. ??? Ensure workstation is stocked with the appropriate supplies & necessary tools to complete work orders. ??? Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues. ??? Maintain a clean and safe work area.
