Job Description
Job Summary The Warehouseman is responsible for efficiently managing the movement and handling of materials within the plant site. This role involves operating equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts, handling inventory, maintaining production line equipment, and performing various related tasks.
Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities Material Handling:
Operates overhead cranes and forklifts to load and unload materialsInventory Management:
Receives incoming inventory, ensuring proper tagging and documentationProduction Support:
Maintains production line equipment with necessary raw materials to minimize downtimeComputer Operations:
Utilizes computer systems to tag, ship, and receive materialsAdditional Duties:
Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor Qualifications Education and/orExperience:
High School diploma or GED required. 1 to 3 months of related experience or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMathematical Skills:
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) with whole numbers, and use units of American money and measurements for weight, volume, and distancePhysical Requirements :
Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobilityReliability :
