Job Description

Join the Speedora team as a Container Unloader, moving product from intermodal containers to the dock quickly, safely, and accurately. This is hands-on, fast-paced work: you'll unload floor-loaded 40-foot containers of lightweight consumer goods by hand, sort product by SKU and lot, and build and wrap pallets to spec. If you're physically fit, dependable, and take pride in hitting turnaround targets with a strong team, this role is for you. This is a 7-day operation running two shifts (day and overnight). Reliability and showing up ready to work are the most important things you bring. Responsibilities Manually unload floor-loaded containers of lightweight cases (grab-and-move, high-volume hand work). Sort and segregate product accurately by SKU and lot. Build pallets to required stacking patterns, apply cornerboard, and shrink-wrap using provided equipment. Stage completed pallets for putaway and keep the dock area organized and safe. Document overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D) accurately at the point of unload. Meet container turnaround and throughput targets while maintaining product quality and minimizing damage. Follow all dock safety procedures and use proper lifting techniques. Requirements Ability to perform sustained physical labor: repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for a full shift. Dependability and punctuality — this is shift-based, high-volume work where the team counts on you showing up. Ability to work at a fast, steady pace and hit turnaround targets. Accuracy in counting and sorting product by SKU and lot. Comfortable working in a container/dock environment (varying temperatures, physical conditions). Prior warehouse, unloading, or lumping experience is a plus but not required — we'll train the right people. Must be available for shift work, including nights and weekends as scheduled.
Physical requirements:
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs repeatedly, work on your feet for the full shift, and maintain pace in a physically demanding environment. Bring your work ethic and reliability, and we'll keep you busy. Speedora values dependable team players who take pride in doing the job right, fast, and safely.
