This role involves working independently in customers' homes, businesses, and properties, often without direct supervision, and may include interaction with vulnerable populations. Employees may access confidential company and customer information, handle regulated materials, make service-related commitments, and operate company vehicles and equipment. Professional conduct, safe driving, responsible handling of materials, and the ability to resolve situations calmly and respectfully are essential. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Perform exclusion services and wildlife removal, including trap setup and sealing entry points
• Complete light construction and minor repairs related to pest damage
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain services and ensure satisfaction
• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
• Complete service documentation and production forms
• Participate in ongoing training and stay current with industry standards
• Perform pest control services for residential and commercial customers
• Once inspections have been conducted to identify pest activity, install termite control systems Physical and Work Environment
• Working around animals, insects, and termites
• Crawling into attics, crawl spaces, basements, and tight areas
• Climbing ladders, scaffolding, and rooftops (safety gear provided)
• Lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.
• Working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Wearing required PPE, including OSHA-compliant respirators
• Using tools, working around mechanical parts, chemicals, dust, and fumes (training provided) Who You Are.

.. What does it take to be a successful specialty services technician at Official? For starters, you'll be at least 18 years old, enthusiastic and dedicated with an eye for detail and love for customer service. You'll also have... High School diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) Valid driver's license Ability to work Monday - Friday; Saturdays as needed Clean-shaven face (required for respirator safety seal) Strong communication and basic math skills Customer-facing experience preferred Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle Ability to work collaboratively with a team Licenses/certifications as required (we pay for training and licensing!)
