Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load, unload, and organize materials using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks Deliver packages directly to customers' locations, ensuring accurate and prompt service while maintaining excellent customer relations Assist with warehouse operations by moving inventory, organizing stock, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace Use mobile devices or delivery apps to manage routes, track deliveries, and communicate with team members effectively Follow safe lifting practices during heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries and ensure workplace safety Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure compliance with safety standards Experience Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services, preferably with box trucks or personal vehicles used for commercial purposes Warehouse experience involving material handling equipment operation such as forklifts or pallet jacks is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to adhere to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe driving practices in various conditions Prior experience in manual handling, moving heavy items, or working in warehouse environments is preferred Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients during deliveries Familiarity with route planning using mobile devices or GPS technology for efficient delivery schedules Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your driving expertise while supporting warehouse operations in a lively environment.
