POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate will have the ability to work individually and as a team while learning our warehouse receiving and release procedures. This role will be responsible for assisting in the receipt of inbound goods and the preparation and loading of outbound shipments. Additionally, the Warehouse Associate will maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment. The right candidate will have attention to detail, and be capable of fast paced physical work. You will be responsible for the wrapping, tagging, and safe racking of all goods. The Warehouse Associate will also be integral in maintaining inventory accuracy, have basic computer literacy, phone etiquette, and a pleasant demeanor dealing with external vendors (such as freight carriers) and internal departments.
DUTIES INCLUDE
Accountable for all warehouse operations including, but not limited to: Receive and process inbound shipments against purchase orders, verifying quantities, SKUs, and condition Complete receiving within established dock-to-stock timelines and accurately update inventory in systems Document and escalate all discrepancies (damage, shortages, incorrect items) with photos and clear notes Maintain inventory accuracy across all locations through proper labeling, barcoding, and location assignment Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits, reconciling discrepancies as needed Pick, pack, wrap, and stage orders for delivery, transfers, and internal use, ensuring accuracy and protection standards Coordinate outbound shipments to meet scheduled deadlines and ensure proper system documentation Conduct quality control inspections on inbound goods and ensure only approved items are released for sale or transfer Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safe storage practices for high-value furniture and materials Accurately track all inventory movements (receipts, transfers, shipments) to ensure real-time system integrity Communicate proactively with warehouse, retail, and procurement teams regarding inventory status, delays, or issues Identify workflow inefficiencies and support continuous improvement of warehouse processes and procedures Other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS & KEY ATTRIBUTES
A basic understanding of product storage and packaging for furniture (particularly for luxury goods) Productivity driven, task oriented and a self starter Ability to effectively respond to and interact with staff at all levels of the organization Basic oral and written communication skills Ability to learn basic PC and parcel shipping programs Basic Problem solving and decision making skills Resilient with an ability to adapt / pivot to changing business objectives The pay range for this position is $22 - $24/hour . Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
