Senior Warehouse Associate - Unloader - Sit Down Forklift (#4bf8) On behalf of Next Deavor Rancho Dominguez, CA Job Details Full-time $20.63 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Forklift High school diploma or GED Organizational skills Warehouse experience Pallet jack Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description Become a Key Player as a Senior Warehouse Associate - Unloader - Sit Down Forklift You will help keep warehouse operations running smoothly by receiving, handling, and preparing freight for outbound shipment. Your work directly impacts on-time delivery and inventory accuracy for the organization and its customers. This is an onsite role at the LA Gateway warehouse. Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team Offload and load vehicles, trailers, and ocean containers safely and without damage Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, hand jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move and stage cargo Palletize, stretch-wrap, band, and prepare ULDs and outbound loads to match paperwork and shipment requirements Verify counts, sign off Bills of Lading, and report discrepancies or damages in freight or paperwork Use warehouse booking-in sheets or a Warehouse Management System to maintain organization and inventory accuracy Execute site-specific procedures including bond checks, DFT/security procedures, and handling bonded import freight as required Maintain general housekeeping and adhere to SOPs and quality expectations; suggest process improvements and assist with staff training Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role Must be at least 18 years old Ability to stand/walk for long periods, frequently bend/twist/reach, and periodically lift up to 50 lbs Minimum 6 months of previous warehouse operations experience with the organization Experience operating sit-down forklift (and other forklift experience) and familiarity with standard warehouse equipment Ability to work flexible hours/days and meet or exceed established performance standards (KPIs) Here's What Else Might Help You Out High school diploma or GED Previous external warehouse or freight forwarder experience Familiarity with Bills of Lading, shipping manifests, and delivery orders Ability to speak Spanish Pay Range $20.63/hour Ready to Make Your Mark?
