This role involves supporting daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring efficient warehouse processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in warehouse management systems, logistics, and inventory control within a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Assist with the loading and unloading of shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Perform accurate order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Utilize warehouse management systems and inventory management software to track stock levels, update records, and ensure data entry accuracy. Support shipping logistics by preparing shipments, printing labels, and coordinating with carriers for timely deliveries. Maintain organized storage areas by stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and conducting regular stock counts. Ensure compliance with trade regulations and company policies related to international trade and trade documentation. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall workflow. Assist in inventory management tasks such as cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and reporting discrepancies. Support warehouse operations by loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods. Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and best practices. Qualifications Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or logistics setting is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (such as AS400), and inventory management software. Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry and reporting purposes. Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and packaging standards. Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control tasks. Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service interactions. This position is an integral part of our supply chain operations.
