Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver Job Summary Back In The Day Classics is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver to assist with the daily operation of our warehouse in Gardena. We specialize in high-end antiques and collectibles. Many of our pieces are valuable, fragile, oversized, or heavy, so the right person must be careful, trustworthy, organized, and comfortable performing hands-on physical work. This position includes general warehouse duties, operating warehouse equipment, and completing local pickups and deliveries using a company truck and trailer. Duties Load, unload, move, and organize warehouse inventory Carefully handle valuable, fragile, oversized, and heavy items Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and hand trucks Wrap and protect merchandise for transportation and storage Properly load and secure items using straps, blankets, and other moving equipment Complete local pickups and deliveries using a company truck and trailer Assist with receiving and preparing items for customer pickup, delivery, or shipment Help arrange and maintain warehouse displays Keep the warehouse, loading areas, and workspaces clean and organized Inspect equipment before use and report safety or maintenance concerns Assist the owner and manager with other warehouse-related tasks as needed Requirements Valid driver's license and a safe driving record Experience driving a truck and towing a trailer Comfortable backing up, parking, loading, and securing a trailer Experience safely operating forklifts and pallet jacks Forklift certification is preferred but not required Knowledge of proper loading, lifting, and warehouse safety procedures Ability to safely lift at least 50 pounds independently Ability to help move heavier items using proper equipment and team assistance Previous warehouse, moving, furniture delivery, or similar experience preferred Familiarity with dollies, hand trucks, moving blankets, and tie-down straps Dependable, punctual, trustworthy, and able to follow instructions Careful and respectful when handling high-end merchandise Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Able to work independently and as part of a small team Reliable transportation to our Gardena warehouse Must be willing to complete a background check and driving-record review after receiving a conditional offer of employment Employment is contingent upon maintaining a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record To Apply Please submit your resume or a brief description of your relevant warehouse, moving, delivery, forklift, and truck-and-trailer experience.
