Summary The Warehouse Technician supports warehouse operations through order preparation, inventory management, equipment assembly, and product testing assistance. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, maintaining a clean workspace, and flexibility to support various operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Prep orders for shipping including Labels and Bill of Lading when necessary. Measure, Inspect and label Lining Materials Test New Equipment Assemble Vacuum Pumps Verifying incoming shipments and report to Supervisor any shortages. Responsible for month end inventory count as well as Inventory Spreadsheet. Assist Technical Manager in house demos/testing. Re-package chemicals to smaller containers, using safety precautions described in the SDS sheets. Work in a safe manner at all times by following the company safety policies and procedures. Maintain a clean work environment by performing cleaning duties when required. Complete assigned duties. Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein.
What Success Looks Like:
Accurate and timely order fulfillment High inventory accuracy (minimal discrepancies) Safe handling and repackaging of materials Reliable support of equipment assembly/testing Clean, organized, and audit-ready workspace
Education and Experience:
GED/High School Diploma. Satisfactorily complete 3 months on-the-job training. Tow Motor Certification. Inventory systems/Excel experience preferred. Chemical handling and safety compliance preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
Basic mechanical aptitude. Attention to detail, ownership, and ability to work independently. Operational flexibility and task switching, supporting warehouse and light technical tasks.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day, including prolonged standing or sitting. Some bending, stooping, stretching, and twisting is required. Requires full range of motion including eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs. Must possess basic math skills. Able to wear required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working as required by the job.
