This is a hands-on, part-time role focused primarily on e-commerce order fulfillment, inventory organization, and shipping and receiving . Because we are a small and growing company, you'll work in a less rigid environment than a traditional large warehouse and have the opportunity to take on additional responsibility as the business grows. One of the biggest benefits of this position is schedule flexibility . Depending on your availability and the number of associates we hire, the role can range from as few as 5 hours to as many as 20 hours per week . Hours can be arranged around school, another job, family commitments, or other responsibilities and can vary from day to day or week to week, provided the required work is completed on time. Our warehouse is not air conditioned , and applicants should be comfortable working in normal Southern California warehouse temperatures. No forklifts or heavy equipment are required. Responsibilities Pick, pack, and prepare e-commerce orders for apparel, accessories, leather goods, and gift items accurately and efficiently. Print shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup. Receive incoming inventory, verify quantities, and organize products in designated warehouse locations. Stock and organize shelves, merchandise, cartons, and fulfillment supplies. Assist with inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records. Inspect incoming and outgoing merchandise for quality and order accuracy. Prepare occasional larger wholesale and retail shipments. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse. Break down boxes, organize packaging materials, and assist with general warehouse tasks as needed. Help identify simple ways to improve fulfillment, organization, and warehouse efficiency as OODA grows. Qualifications Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently. Strong attention to detail, particularly when picking and packing customer orders. Comfortable working in a small, hands-on warehouse environment that is not air conditioned. Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive fulfillment tasks. Able to safely lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 pounds . Basic computer skills and willingness to learn shipping and e-commerce fulfillment systems. Prior warehouse, e-commerce fulfillment, shipping, retail stockroom, or inventory experience is helpful but not required . No forklift or heavy-equipment experience is necessary. Schedule This is a highly flexible, part-time position . Depending on your availability and the number of associates we hire, we can offer approximately 5-20 hours per week . Hours can be scheduled around school, another job, or other commitments and may vary from one day or week to the next. We're open to working with each associate to establish a schedule that fits their availability while ensuring orders and other warehouse work are completed when needed.
