GENERAL LABORERS NEEDED
Apply in person: Monday - Friday between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm Pacific Clay Products, Inc., manufacturer of high quality bricks, is seeking General Laborers. The general labor position consists of general duties in all departments including, but not limited to, stacking brick, packaging brick, tumbling brick, general cleanup and other duties as assigned. Must be capable of working in a position that requires physical demands, such as, standing for long periods, walking, bending, regular use of hands, repetitive movements, lifting or moving up to 50 lbs and exposure to hot and cold weather. Opportunities for advancement The plant runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; Therefore, candidates must be available to work any shift as required. Most shifts start at 4:30 am and 4:30 pm. Only applicants that are available to work either shift need apply. This position starts out at a rate of $19.00 per hour, through a temporary agency. If your work is satisfactory, you may become a Pacific Clay employee and a member of the United Steelworkers Union. Positions may be temporary. Hourly rates are increased every 90 days while employed until the maximum rate for the position is reached. Benefits are available once you become a Pacific Clay employee. Candidates must successfully pass a background check which includes, but is not limited to, identity, previous employment, employment authorization (e-Verify), driving record, criminal record and a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
