Job Description
- Job Title: Warehouse Associate
- Job Description
- As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in our daily operations.
Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing products, accurately picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, and maintaining organized inventory. Additionally, you will perform general warehouse tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you'll interact with customers, suppliers, and team members regularly.
- Responsibilities
- + Prepare merchandise for customers by promptly filling and packaging orders for will call or shipping.
+ Receive and prioritize orders through supervisor-issued work tags.
+ Retrieve items from inventory using manual methods and/or forklifts.
+ Prepare materials for delivery or pick-up by customers, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
+ Verify the accuracy and timeliness of filled orders before delivery or pick-up.
+ Complete bills of lading for materials being delivered to customers.
+ Maintain organized files for customer pick-up orders, noting relevant information on invoices.
+ Serve 'Express Will Call Customers' promptly to expedite order processing.
+ Assist with counter sales by entering orders into the system and pulling/loading orders.
+ Foster a positive work atmosphere by cooperating and communicating effectively with customers, co-workers, and managers.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Essential Skills
- + Proficient in operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
+ Ability to handle heavy lifting up to 50lbs - 75lbs.
+ Comfortable utilizing an iPad to submit orders and work off purchase orders.
+ Proficient in using RF scan guns.
+ Basic computer skills, including keyboarding.
+ Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
+ Strong verbal, written, and reading communication skills.
+ Basic math skills, including counting and performing computations up to four digits.
+ Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
+ Proficient in English, including reading, writing, and oral communication.
+ Strong problem-solving abilities, considering all factors and recommending appropriate solutions.

- Work Environment
- The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with a standard shift from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM.
You will have access to the necessary tools and technologies, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scan guns. As part of a trusted leader in wholesale distribution, you will work alongside a team dedicated to providing premium products and exceptional support to plumbers and contractors.

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Napa, CA.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $22.
00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
