Warehouse Associate/Shipping and Receiving Bear Corporation Norwalk, CA Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Temp-to-hire | Seasonal | Full-time $17 - $20 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Employee discount Retirement plan Qualifications Computer operation Moving English High school diploma or GED Warehouse experience Computer skills Full Job Description What we are looking for: We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-focused candidate to join our warehouse shipping staff for a period of 3-6 months, with a possibility of obtaining permanent employment based on performance. An ability to work independently without distraction is a requirement. Prior experience working in a shipping/receiving capacity is helpful, but not required. Must be available 9 AM - 5:30 PM for full time, Monday-Fridays. What you'll be doing: Shipping Accurately print, pick, pull, and pack orders with RF scan guns Securely palletize large orders, stretch wrap, and load pallets onto trucks. Create shipping documents & labels and schedule pickups. Receiving Unload merchandise from shipping containers. Restock warehouse shelving with products. Perform counts on products to ensure minimal inventory discrepancy. Other duties Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Communicate regularly with the sales, operations, and accounting team. Re-arrangement of warehouse racks to fit the needs of the company. Occasional errands at the behest of the company. Qualifications Availability to work Monday-Friday until 5:30PM Ability to regularly move boxes up to 50 lbs is required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior shipping and receiving experience preferred is a plus. Attention to detail. Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers is a plus, but not required. Must be comfortable using a computer. Experience Shipstation a plus. Prior experience with RF scanners a plus General bicycle knowledge is a plus Knowledge of OSHA warehouse requirement is a plus.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
