•Summary Plexpack Inc. is a family-owned packaging equipment manufacturer that prides itself on cultivating a friendly and diverse workforce. We are looking for an efficient and safety-minded General Laborer to help with our manufacturing and operations department. The General Laborer will be responsible for building pallets, assisting with the manual aspects of shipping, supporting general manufacturing operations, and assisting the VP, USA in setting up our new location in Vista, CA. The ideal candidate would be able to work with moderate supervision, be bilingual in Spanish and English, and be familiar with working in a manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities Build and assemble pallets to ensure the proper storage and transportation of materials and finished products. Ensure pallets are stable, properly packed, and ready to ship. Assist with the manual tasks related to shipping, including loading and unloading materials and products, preparing items for shipment, and organizing shipments for delivery. Help track and manage inventory during the shipping process to ensure all materials are accounted for and handled correctly. Assist with general manufacturing tasks as needed, such as material handling, part organization, or maintenance of work areas. Follow all company safety procedures, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring safe practices while operating machinery and handling materials. Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the work area, equipment, and tools are well-maintained and organized. Perform other duties as assigned to support the manufacturing and shipping operations. Must lift up to 50lbs when required to assist in the manufacturing or shipping processes. May be required to do additional tasks as required. Qualifications and Skills High school diploma is an asset 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or a similar role Driver's License is an asset
