Job Description

Warehouse Crew | Event Rentals Folklore Rentals Oceanside, CA Job Details Temporary | Full-time $18 - $20 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Packing Forklift Warehouse experience Pallet jack Picking & packing Full Job Description Full-Time |$18.00 - $20.00 (DOE) | In-Person | Oceanside, CA Not Your Typical Warehouse Job Let's get one thing out of the way: we are not moving boxes of printer paper. Our warehouse is filled with sofas, chairs, bars, rugs, lighting, umbrellas, pillows, décor, and some seriously cool pieces headed to weddings, parties, brand activations, and events all over Southern California. We're looking for Warehouse Crew Members who like staying busy, working with a solid team, and seeing what they accomplished at the end of a shift. If you'd rather be moving than sitting behind a desk watching the clock, you'll probably like it here. A Little About Us Folklore is a Southern California event rental company specializing in curated furniture and décor. The beautiful events you see on Instagram? There's a whole crew behind the scenes making sure every sofa is clean, every chair is accounted for, every rug is ready, and every order gets out the door looking exactly the way it should. That's where our Warehouse Crew comes in. What You'll Actually Be Doing Every day is a little different, but you can expect to: Pull furniture and décor for upcoming event orders Prep and stage inventory so orders are ready to load and hit the road Check pieces for damage, cleanliness, and overall quality before they leave the warehouse Clean, touch up, wrap, spot treat, and prep inventory Unload and process inventory returning from events Label, organize, and restock chairs, sofas, pillows, lighting, umbrellas, rugs, and other inventory Report damaged, broken, or missing pieces so we can get them handled Help with weekly inventory counts Keep staging areas and warehouse aisles clean, organized, and safe Load and unload trucks as needed Jump in and help the crew wherever the day takes us One minute you're pulling a giant sectional. The next you're wrapping a bar, restocking chairs, checking a rug, or trying to figure out where the heck one missing sofa leg went. Boredom isn't really our thing. You'll Probably Like This Job If… You like being on your feet. You don't mind getting your hands dirty. You appreciate a warehouse that actually stays organized. You can work quickly without getting sloppy. You notice when something is damaged instead of pretending you didn't see it. And when the crew is pushing to get an order out, your instinct is to jump in and help. What We're Looking For Previous warehouse, loading/unloading, moving, event rental, delivery, or similar hands-on experience is preferred Comfortable working in a physical, fast-paced environment Able to safely move and handle furniture and event inventory throughout your shift Reliable and ready to work when scheduled Strong attention to detail, especially when pulling and checking inventory Comfortable following warehouse organization and safety procedures Able to work independently and as part of a crew Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment is a plus High school diploma or equivalent preferred Most importantly, we're looking for someone who shows up, works hard, takes care of the inventory, and has the crew's back. The Busy Season Is BUSY ☀ We work in events, which means the calendar runs the show. During peak season, especially September and October, there may be extended hours, changing priorities, and days when everyone is moving. If you like a fast pace and would rather have a shift fly by than stare at the clock, welcome to event rentals. Benefits Health, Dental & Vision insurance 401(k) & 401(k) matching Paid time off Think You'd Fit In With Our Crew? Bring the work ethic. Bring the attention to detail. Bring the energy. We'll bring the furniture. Lots and lots of furniture. Click apply to join the crew.
