Warehouse Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will support the overall management of warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory control, seamless distribution processes, and adherence to safety standards. Your leadership will help optimize warehouse workflows, improve processes, and maintain high levels of accuracy in inventory management. Duties Assist in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and materials handling activities. Coordinate warehouse distribution tasks to ensure timely delivery and order fulfillment for e-commerce and 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) clients. Lead and manage warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative team environment while ensuring compliance with OSHA safety regulations. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline warehouse workflows. Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely for materials handling and heavy lifting tasks. Monitor inventory control procedures to prevent discrepancies and facilitate accurate stock levels across all storage areas. Deliveries to local clients Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse management or as a warehouse supervisor with strong knowledge of warehouse operations. Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, logistics, shipping & receiving, and materials handling. Valid forklift certification and mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and operation. Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent understanding of process improvement techniques within warehousing or distribution settings. Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
