Job Description
Overview We're looking for a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team! In this role, you'll help keep our warehouse running smoothly by stocking, labeling, picking and packing, and preparing product for distribution. You'll work closely with the Operations team to make sure inventory is accurate, deliveries are handled efficiently, and the workspace stays clean and organized. Minimum Requirements Candidates must Be 21 years of age or older Pass a background check Be able to speak, read, write and understand English at the level of a college student. Be able to legally work in the United States. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Assist shipping and receiving to unload and load transfers and deliveries, count and verify that inventory matches transfer documents. Read pick lists, Metrc manifests or requisitions to determine items to move, gather or distribute and/or ship. Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas. Ability to print shipping labels and update Spreadsheet with box counts. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code. Help operate and maintain a computerized inventory control system. Inform Supervisor of supplies or materials needed. Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for everyone. Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods. Assist in counting and maintaining physical inventory. Responsible for keeping all work areas clean and free of debris; responsible for the daily walk-through to assure that all areas are safe and acceptable to begin daily assignments. May be required to assist in driving for vehicle maintenance and as a substitute when necessary. Supervisor Responsibilities There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions. Basic CPU skills required, decent typing and familiarity with Excel spreadsheets. Self-motivated, able to find answers and increase efficiency. Must have the ability to work independently. Comfortable to work in a high pace, high volume environment with deadlines. Must be able to pay attention to detail, follow double check procedures and be organized. Team attitude and good communication skills. Preferred Knowledge of the cannabis industry. A positive team player. Work Environment This job operates primarily onsite in a warehouse environment; however, some tasks may be off-site. This role requires a lot of physical work and the ability to use a computer or other electronic devices used in warehouse operations. Physical Demands This is a physically demanding position. To perform the required tasks of this position, a Warehouse Associate needs to have and/or be able to: Sit, stand or walk short distances for the employee's entire shift. Climb stairs on an occasional basis. Perform consistent packing and inventory movement demands. Constantly operate a computer and other warehouse electronics. Lift and carry up to 50lbs. on an occasional basis. Lift, push or pull up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis. Comply with all safety standards and procedures. Reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis. Stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis. Navigate uneven terrain, such as sidewalks, parking lots and city curbs.
