WAREHOUSE OPERATOR

Full-time, Non-Exempt About the Role As the Warehouse Operator, you will play a vital role in our warehouse operations. The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the efficient movement, handling, sampling, and storage of seed lots within the processing and warehouse operations. This position ensures that all activities are performed according to established quality, safety, and operational procedures. The role supports inventory accuracy, seed traceability, and the timely movement of materials throughout the processing department while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Key Responsibilities Loading and unloading seed shipments. Executing warehouse processes according to established protocols and safety guidelines. Managing inventory using the ABS system and handheld devices. Handling inbound and outbound seed lots, as well as transporting seeds internally between the warehouse and processing departments. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Weighing random seed lots under the supervision of internal or external auditors to ensure stock accuracy. Providing flexible support across the entire warehouse department. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with treated or disinfected seed lots. Performing other duties as assigned. What You Bring We are looking for someone who is proactive, safety-conscious, and organized. You should be able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
The ideal candidate will have:
Vocational experience. At least 1 year of relevant work experience (preferred). Forklift certification (a plus). Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed. A valid driver's license. Must be eligible for coverage under the company's auto insurance policy. Compensation & Benefits The following information is provided in good faith as a general description of the pay range and benefits for the position posted. Estimated Starting Hourly Rate:
$22.00 -$23.00. The starting hourly rate is offered in good‑faith, based on role level, skill, qualifications and local market data.
