We have been at this since 2011, we print and ship everything in-house, and our customers are seriously obsessed. We are hiring one seasonal Warehouse Associate to get us through our busiest stretch of the year. Our in-house team is four people, so the person we add matters a lot. You will be in the middle of everything: printing apparel, packing orders, keeping inventory tight, and jumping in wherever the day needs you. This is not a role where you do one task for eight hours. It is a role where you get good at a lot of things fast. One thing to know up front: we print our apparel by hand, one piece at a time. Where a design lands on a shirt is the whole ballgame. Crooked or off-center means we eat the cost. You do not need printing experience, but you do need a good eye for placement and the patience to get it right every time. Pay and schedule $20 per hour Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm Seasonal position with a defined end date: starts immediately, runs through mid-January We are closed December 24 through January 1 On-site in Signal Hill. Candidates must live in the general area. What you'll do Pull, pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently Print apparel merchandise by hand Prep garments and materials for production Sticker, bag and tag product Restock and organize inventory, and flag what is running low Inspect goods for defects and damages Help keep the warehouse clean and running Occasional merchandising and tagging on the retail side What we're looking for Shows up on time, every day. This is the single most important thing. A good eye. Straight lines, even spacing, good placement. This one is not optional, it is how our apparel gets made. Detail-oriented and deadline-oriented. Right item, right size, right address, every order. Comfortable jumping between tasks without being told twice Honest, reliable, trustworthy Able to work alone and as part of a team Comfortable reading and following written order sheets and instructions in English Reliable transportation to Signal Hill Must love dogs Nice to have, not required Warehouse, fulfillment or production experience Apparel printing or print shop experience Previous ecommerce experience, or experience working with Shopify Basic comfort with Excel and Google Docs We will train the right person.
