An ideal candidate is someone who can keep track of and follow up on multiple tasks at once, is willing to volunteer when something needs to be done, and identifies issues or possible improvements to the workflow.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of shipping experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of FedEx, UPS, USPS domestic and international shipping methods. Be able to generate shipping labels based on package dimensions, contents and destination.
  • Duties are varied, and can change day to day.
  • Shipstation and/or Shopify experience is a big plus
  • Ability to comprehensively read and reply to emails.
  • Ability to file shipping traces, recalls, claims and follow-up.
  • Attention to detail. Quality control/identify packing mistakes.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills. Email and follow-up with customers and coworkers regarding address issues, order changes, shipping issues, back orders and status of order. Communicate with courier regarding shipping issues.
  • Must work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a clean working area.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • General computer skills including Windows, Google suite including web based email and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts a plus.
  • Able to lift 50lbs.
