The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of production equipment to ensure safe operation and maintenance of our automated bagging production machine and robot bag stacker. Will also assist our Warehouse Manager in the efficient loading, unloading, and movement of goods within the warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of operations and ensuring safety standards are met. This is a labor intensive job. Will use brooms, shovels and various equipment to keep warehouse area clean and operational. Will also help our driver offload soil bags at Nurseries when forklift is unavailable. Duties Ideal candidate could also operate forklifts and pallet jacks, to transport materials throughout the warehouse. Clean loose soil, sweep warehouse, keep work are clean. Load and unload shipments with precision and care to prevent damage to products. Help mix soil products with various organic ingredients. Willing to learn to drive small tractor for soil mixing. Perform order picking tasks accurately to fulfill customer requests in a timely manner. Build and organize pallets for storage or shipment while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs. Maintain a safe and clean warehouse. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and enhance productivity within the warehouse environment. Requirements Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate in a distribution center or warehouse/factory setting is preferred. Reliable transportation to and from work Familiarity with various types of forklifts and pallet jacks. Strong understanding of order picking processes and warehouse management systems. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Will occasionally assist driver with off loading of bagged soil at customer locations. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices in the workplace.
