//www.autobestusa.com/ We are looking to hire a hardworking, motivated individual for our warehouse as Warehouse Worker to assist with general warehouse duties and moving boxes, putting boxes on pallets, loading and unloading . This position may range from four weeks up to 3 months.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean, neat, safe and well-organized work area. Organizing, sort, and stock merchandize and/or warehouse materials as instructed. Pick, scan, verify, and prepare products for shipment using an RF/handheld barcode scanner (gun scanner), Place boxes on pallets and properly secure loads using shrink wrap, strapping, and other appropriate materials. Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, hand trucks/dollies, and other approved warehouse equipment. Assist with receiving, storing, picking, packing, labeling, and moving inventory as needed. Follow company procedures for product handling, inventory control, and workplace safety. Comply with OSHA requirements and all applicable company safety policies and procedures. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent. Some warehouse or similar experience required Previous warehouse, distribution, or shipping/receiving experience, preferred. Experience using an RF scanner, handheld barcode scanner, or warehouse "gun" scanner preferred. Experience operating a pallet jack and/or hand truck/dolly preferred. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to use basic hand tools and equipment required for the position. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical demands and abilities Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, grasp, scan, sort, package, and move products. Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, communicate verbally, and hear instructions and safety signals. Frequently required to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or reach. Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, or work in various physical positions. Regularly required to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 60 pounds . May occasionally be required to lift or move heavier items, including items weighing more than 100 pounds, with assistance or appropriate material-handling equipment . Ability to safely operate or assist with pallet jacks, hand trucks/dollies, and other warehouse equipment. Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks associated with picking, packing, scanning, stocking, loading, and unloading.
