Job Description

The Warehouse Operator will assist the Operations Manager with overseeing order picking, Product storage, receiving, security, maintenance, sanitation, and other operations functions. You will oversee, train, evaluate and hold staff accountable. You will be responsible for the warehouse "maping" or cargo locations to ensure maximum capacity and efficiency. You will report to the General Manager. To ensure success you need to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and perform your duties in a manner that maximizes profits. Warehouse Operator Responsibilities:
Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. Implementing operational policies and procedures. Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment. Work closely with the Operations Manager on planning and executing daily activities and projects. Ensuring the safety of staff. Ensuring security of the premises. Motivating staff and assist with disciplining staff. Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of cargo. You will be responsible for the team on the floor when the Manager is not present. This is a working supervisor position, as a result you will be responsible to operate warehouse equipment and assist with loading and unloading of cargo. You will be responsible for reading and responding to customer and company emails in a timely manner. As well as managing the inbound and outbound loads. Communicating with customers and the other divisions of the company.
Warehouse Associate Requirements:
1+ years of warehouse management experience. (preferred) Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures. Valid drivers' license. Ability to operate forklift effectively. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Strong people skills. Available to work extended hours. As well as Weekends when needed.

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
