Tempus is a dynamic and rapidly growing company at the forefront of the electronics recycling industry. We specialize in responsible e-waste management and are committed to environmental sustainability. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a versatile individual to join our team as a Box Truck Driver and Warehouse Worker.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and proactive individual to fill the dual role of Box Truck Driver and Warehouse Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for driving overflow routes and filling in for drivers when needed. During downtimes, you will engage in warehouse activities such as electronics disassembly, sorting, and testing. Successful candidates must possess excellent computer skills, and bilingual proficiency is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Box Truck Driver:
Safely operate box trucks to transport e-waste materials to designated locations. Fill in for regular drivers during scheduled time off or as needed for overflow eroutes. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to specified destinations. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
Warehouse Worker:
Disassemble electronics according to established guidelines. Sort and organize electronic components for recycling. Conduct testing procedures on electronic devices to assess functionality. Maintain accurate inventory records of materials in the warehouse. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency.
Requirements:
Boxtruck Driver experience required. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Proven experience in box truck driving and familiarity with local routes. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in data entry and inventory management. Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods. Ability to move 100+ lbs with a pallet jack Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English is required Availability for occassional overnight work trips
