Responsibilities Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels, process transactions, and update records accurately. Assist with shipping logistics, including preparing shipments, verifying shipping & receiving documentation, and coordinating with carriers. Perform order picking, packing, and staging to fulfill customer orders efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely for loading and unloading goods. Conduct data entry tasks related to inventory updates, shipment logs, and stock movements using ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock locations, stocking shelves, and ensuring proper packaging for shipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with trade regulations and international trade requirements when applicable. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment by following safety protocols and conducting routine inspections. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for inventory or order status updates. Skills Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP platforms like AS400 or equivalent. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping logistics, order fulfillment, picking & packing, and stock management. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is preferred. Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail; familiarity with MS Office applications such as Excel is advantageous. Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring packages, and verifying quantities accurately. Experience with international trade regulations and trade compliance procedures is a plus. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and providing customer service support.
