Job Description
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate for our indoor construction materials warehouse. This hands-on role includes forklift operation, loading/unloading trucks, picking up materials from suppliers, delivering/dropping off equipment and materials to customer job sites, organizing and cleaning the warehouse, managing basic inventory, and jumping in on various general tasks as needed. Ideal candidate is physically fit, forklift-certified (or willing to certify), has a clean driving record, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Receive/unload incoming materials (heavy lifting up to 70-80 lbs frequently), verify, and store properly. Operate forklift safely to move, stack, organize, and retrieve materials/equipment in the warehouse. Pick up materials from suppliers and deliver/drop off materials, tools, or equipment to customer job sites/field locations using company vehicles; ensure timely, secure transport and hand-off.
Organize and maintain inventory:
stock items correctly, perform regular basic checks for accuracy. Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and organized daily (sweeping, removing debris, arranging racks/shelves for safety/efficiency). Load/unload trucks for incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments/pickups. Assist with general tasks as needed (e.g., equipment coordination, helping crew, miscellaneous duties). Follow safety policies, OSHA standards, and conduct daily equipment inspections. Collaborate with team to resolve issues and ensure smooth operationsQualifications & Requirements Required:
1-2+ years hands-on warehouse/distribution/construction experience (forklift a plus). Ability to lift 70-80 lbs repeatedly/safely. Valid driver's license with clean record (essential for supplier pickups and customer deliveries). Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain quickly). Strong attention to detail, communication, multitasking in fast-paced setting. High school diploma or equivalentPreferred:
Experience with deliveries, driving company vehicles, or supplier pickups in warehouse/construction. Familiarity with construction materials/tools/equipment. Clean/organized mindset with pride in maintaining a tidy workspace. Physical Requirements Frequent heavy lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling of items up to [e.g., 70-80 lbs] Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing for extended periods Ability to operate to drive delivery vehicles safely Exposure to warehouse conditions (varying temperatures, noise, dust) Skills & Competencies Strong work ethic and pride in craftsmanship Problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality Effective time management and communication Adaptability across a variety of tasks and work environments Team player with a commitment to excellent customer service Willingness to handle varied tasks, including ad-hoc requests and daily warehouse cleaning/organization All positions require a background checkPay:
